Because surviving multiple shots to the torso is balanced. Because firing through teammates is balanced. Because taking rockets to your vehicle and hiding behind a building while you auto-repair is balanced. Because magically healing your multiple shots to the torso is balanced. Because seeing orange markers over an enemy's head is balanced.

Because seeing orange markers over an enemy's head is balanced. Etc etcBecause getting shot in the toe while at full health and dying is balanced. Because trying to play with two teams filled with snipers is balanced.
Because leaving vehicle health alone while reducing infantry health is balanced. Because having a minimap with enemy's marked with Doritos, but no way to check your ammo is balanced.
Because idiots who spray'n'pray from their camp sites should get kills. Etc etc Hardcore is a bastardized version of Battlefield. It's only there because it's relatively easy to implement, people like knowing it exists, and a few of you actually play that crap. Whenever I would get TKd for no good reason, I'd shoot the TKer in the foot to grey their screen out.
Getting sniped in the foot is a different story. But really, let's see how well you operate when you're missing half your foot. 2) I play exclusively hardcore, and I've never EVER had more than half the team be recon. It's all map dependent. And ya, I agree, it gets annoying.
Hearing all the bullets crack past my head makes me smile, though. Gotta love the baddies and their semi-autos. 3) Minimaps are a server based option. They can be, and are, disabled on the servers I use. 4) It's an FPS. People will camp. Or would you prefer everyone blindly running through the open while firing?

So it is either a small bug that needs tweaked or a server issue that needs patched. FWIW our HC server is not showing up as HC nor is it running at HC - however give it a few days (maybe less) and I am sure it will be fixed.
There are HC servers up and running just fine. As was stated earlier, just make sure 'custom' is checked in the filter. Sorry that your server isn't working, though.:(. Elite-Reaction said: Hardcore is just a haven for people that are terrible. Plain and simple.
Learn to aim. Hardcore is actually normal mode. But now they have pussy mode for u people who need to go and hide and regenerate and dont know how to play the game.U can call it normal mode all u want but its pussy mode to so noob gamers have a chance!Normal mode should be removed along with the radar and all the other noob friendly shit in the game.Noob friendly games should be for consoles. Man i miss the old PC days before this noob friendly shit came in and now u think pussy mode is normal lmao! Lyme047 said: 1) Getting shot in the toe won't kill you. But really, let's see how well you operate when you're missing half your foot.Getting sniped means you got shot. With a sniper rifle. And if you're going to start talking about realism, I'm going to remind you that there is no aspect of battlefield that is actually realistic. That includes everything from the damage modeling to the obscenely slow projectile velocities, to the suppression, to the magic boxes that make you healthier. Gotta love the baddies and their semi-autos.I've played hardcore only a handful of times, and I've seen more than one team that was primarily sniper. EDIT LOL at the post above mine. Every FPS in history had so called 'noob friendly' features. Falcrist said: Lyme047 said: 1) Getting shot in the toe won't kill you. Not trying to change your mind about anything. I was just stating me issues with normal.:D.
Grabbed a screenshot of the menu, and it shows two new game modes as “coming soon”. The first is Hardcore mode, a fan-favourite that DICE has somehow not mentioned at all in the lead-up to launch. The next one is something completely new, called Fog of War. As you can see in the image, the thumbnail shows plenty of fog around some soldiers.Neither mode is active at this time, and there are no other details available if you click on the images. That said, it’s easy to guess what a mode called Fog of War is going to be about. Battlefield 1 has some of the most impressive weather effects in any online shooter, and fog is already available on many of its maps.Instead of rolling in for a few minutes randomly, this mode could include 100 percent fog all-game long.

It could disable the mini-map, too, to make it full-on Predator. As for Hardcore, the mode has always been a staple of the franchise. Mtp usb device driver download windows 7 samsung. It’s a pretty straightforward affair; mini-map will be disabled, and everything does more damage, or more accurately, you have less health.Battlefield 1 is out October 21 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
